Paul’s career began at The Onion, where he focused on the business side of creative publishing—gaining experience in strategy, brand partnerships, and close collaboration with creative teams in a fast-paced editorial environment. This foundation led to a portfolio of award-winning work across digital media, print publications, podcasts, and branded content. His decades-long role as creator and editor-in-chief of Array Magazine further established his reputation for crafting meaningful, high-quality content in editorial and brand-driven environments.
As the founder of SideTrip, Paul leads a nimble creative team producing projects across branding, design, immersive environments, and digital media. Notable work includes the development of the Parents’ Choice Gold Award-winning iOS app Animal Alphabet, the conceptual and marketing strategy for the immersive theater experience True Love Forever, and the interior and graphic design for Port of Entry for Albany Park Theater Project. SideTrip has also designed experiential retail and F&B spaces for major brands including Virgin Group, Equinox, and Bed Bath & Beyond—always focusing on storytelling and standout user experience. Paul also acts as Creative Lead for Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
